Played two of my instrumental pieces at Scratcher's last night (who is Scratcher???). That saved my voice a bit. Anyway, the problem with finger picking is that it's quite quiet. I think the audience could hear them okay and I didn't make too many fluffs, far fewer than I expected. So, I think that worked out well. I did finish with 'I Remember White Cotton' and got the other players to join in. It sounded surprising folky rather than its usual 'Carribean feel'. That went down well.
I now have some more pictures of Milton, so they might go up on the website under his own page sometime.
Finally, I managed to write/edit a bit more of the Steaming Up companion booklet. So far that's just less than 6 thousand words long. I'm working on that while I wait for a new illustrator to come up some final illustrations for the series. It has delayed everything.
